Allium Cepa: It is used for liquid discharges when watering eyes don't cause any irritation. On the other hand nasal discharges are excoriant and cause burning nostrils. The persons eyes water as if by onions.

Euphrasia: The person stereotypical for this remedy has a runny nose and watering eyes. It is a very liquid discharge, but this time the eyes are irritated and not the nose.

Hydrastis: This Canadian plant is used for flowing yellowish discharges.

Kalium Bichromicum: Used if these same discharges clog up.

Belladonna: This homeopathic antithermic will especially be used for fever with headaches and a facial congestion. Temperature can fluctuate between 38 and 39°C. If the temperature persists, don't hesitate to see your doctor. We also consider it to be an anti-inflammatory drug. It is used when temperature and perspiration are associated along, with dry mucus membranes and sometimes a dilation of pupils causing photophobia.

Naphtalinum: This remedy is for cataract, allergic coryza, and asthma. Here coryza is abundant, the same as with allium cepa and euphrasia. The person has very irritable watery discharges and does a lot of sneezing.

Echinacea: This remedy is used for suppurations along with a general bad state, especially if the person has a fever and is weak and drained of all energy. He shivers and can have a sore throat.

Pulsatilla: I consider this to be a base remedy. It corresponds to a soft non-irritant discharge. When used alone, it would need to be used for different behavioural criteria. Especially used for shy people having a bad circulation. This remedy is for people who cry easily but are okay when they receive the comfort they seek.

Phytolacca: Is for strepthroat characterized by dark red tonsils, along with pain at the larynx which worsens when swallowing.

Silicea: Is the "champion of chronicity". As much for repetitious infections of chronic rhinitis as for chronic sinusitis.
